Marién Vélez
partner & co-founder
Marién Vélez is the founder and Partner of 22, a transdisciplinary design and art studio, where she leads philosophical interests, collaborative thinking, and detail development for all projects.
She collaborates with architects, designers, artists, performers, and communities.
Marién has an MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, NYC. She created the course 'Light-Space Art' for the School of Architecture, University of Puerto Rico. She has been a guest speaker at the School of Plastic Arts and Design of Puerto Rico, the University of Puerto Rico, and Georgetown University, among other institutions and arts & design platforms. She published for the College of Architects and Landscape Architects of Puerto Rico.
